my polli only comes out for food

my polli bichar stays hiddin in this little log all day untill food comes and i was wondering if he will ever be out and about. do your bichars come to the front of the tank when you approach it or are they like plecos no personality and hide all day.

No Affence to pleco owners but they dont do anything and thats the most dull fish i could think of to compare to my bichar and how he hides. even though there are some very cool plecos

So ya how do your guyses bichars act?

Some bichirs are just shy. My P. Polli and Delhezi are fairly active and move around alot throughout the day, but my P. Buetts and AnsorgiXendi just lay there hiding all day. It depends on the species and personality.
