Hey friends,

wanted to share my experience with these amazing intelligent and addictive fishes. Ever since ive gotten that my first endlicheri, ive been bitten with poly poison and just 2 months ago, got these 9 beautiful polypterus retros together.
There were a couple of fights at first, but have seen settled down, totally peaceful now, and loving each other's company.

Do pardon my poor phototaking skills. These pictures really dont do them justice.
And yes, if anyone wondered, the tank IS snail infested, but these snails do their part eating away uneaten foods, waste and keep the water crystal clean and the retros dont seem to mind their company. So im keeping them this way. :headbang2

Do feel free to share any comments regarding my setup or the fishes.:)

very nice man, bichirs are very addictive, but I don't think those snails are a good idea..

Very nice polys, i understand how it is , i buy any big polys i find now, no matter what price cant say no to a big poly.

very nice. mine should be coming in to the LFS tomorrow :D

Now why can't mine turn green like that. haha. They are pretty neat polys, for some reason they are my least active species in my tank at home. I really think their eyes are cool.

Very nice looking bichirs. Now I'm really regretting passing on buying one of these.
Hopefully you can get yours in time, these are really nice looking docile species.

that thread was only last week and i said it should be in this thursday :P

Where they always green like that or do they get it as they get older? mine are kinda more bland looking. Kinda like that one closest to the glass in the first picture you have.
