I finally got my 100g long poly tank up and running, still needs aquascaped, but its up and running. I noticed that most (read all) of my bichirs/ropes are hiding under the driftwood I have in there. Is it better to let them acclimate to the tank bare or with the temporary settings?

Here's a temp pic. I will be adding black sand and some different wood, rocks, and plants. That's my first stand I've ever built too! Sorry, just excited:screwy:

What are you sorry about it looks pretty good to me -Anne

It would have been easier to add sand before filling but its your tank

Yeah, I kinda figured it would have been, but I'm not opposed to redoing it. It may be a few days before I am able to get the sand and I am impatient. I have been dieing to get this tank up and running.

And thanks for the compliment.

Tank and stand look good.
Enough!
Lets see those polys:D

Gonna try to get them out and about tonight and see if I can get any decent pics. The LFS is supposed to have some new ones coming in this week, so hopefully I can add to it some more.

looks cool man. it kinda looks like my setup except i have black gravel. i'm trying to get a 150 in the next week or so so i can add more bichirs! be sure to post more pics once you get your sand in there.

great looking stand btw. especially if its homemade. i could never build anything like that.
