I posted a whats in the bag thread about my new pickups of additions to the bichir addiction and just wanted to make a thread dedicated to them away from the game..
Both are CB the del is about 3" and the teug is about 3.5-4" forgot to measure before I put them in! Although when I was taking close up pics (found out my tablet is really good at taking close up pics) I found a bichir worm :(. But I read high heat and alt works or metro and I just bought some metro and I have never used it so can anyone confirm this works?
 
might be the angle but is the tail fin a spoon shape or is it pointed?
 
It's either a birth defect from mass breeding or it just might be a nipped fin. More likely a nipped fin but I don't see any sign of past injury at the tip....

Whats deformed the tail? Looks normal tome and all the pics I have seen on the internet. He did get nipped the first day, hmm oh well I like him! and didn't cost me an arm and a leg
 
Guess it's just a nip then. Dang the teuls are super cheap but the shipping costs more than the fish! I guess it's worth it more to a wild for alot more dough then! lol
