My Polypterus

Hello MFK.

This thread is about the polypterus that i keep, have kept, and new Polypterus species brought too Iceland, where i live.

The Polypterus that i have kept.

I will begin with some of the poly's that i have kept and what species of polypterus have been brought to Iceland.
The following sp. of Polypterus currently are known of here in Iceland and how many of each.

?? P. Senegalus
?? P. Ornatipinnis
?? P. Palmas Polli
5-10x Palmas Palmas
1x P. Delhezi
3x P. B. Lapradei
2x P. E. Congicus
1xP. Retropinnis

I have kept:
Several Senegalus
2x Ornatipinnis
3x Polli
1 of 3 Delz and i am very proud of that but mine and the other (not mine)died so there is only 1.
1 of those 3 Laps, sold it off.


But now around the 20th. January there should be arriving from the UK an Albino P. Senegalus, i know it doesnt sound big but i will be keeping the first 1 that has ever arrived to Iceland and i think i can be proud of that

So i will be putting that 4" Sen in a 125g. Maybe with a 2" Con and a 3" texas cichlid put they will be gone soon, so in that tank there will ONLY go polys except for maybe 1 top tank fish.

I did NOT know that, it is alright. I will atleast have 1.

it was a few years ago, dont know who has them or if they are still alive.
