My camera is not the best, so the pictures are not fantastic. They're still pretty fish though, so it matters naught.

They get fed a steady diet of beef heart, Hikari Sinking Carnivore Wafers, Hikari Cichlid Gold, and soon New Life Spectrum Large Fish Formula. It's a 3mm pellet that I have seen other Bichir keepers pleased with. It apparently helps color without hormones. I do feed a few other NLS foods to other fish, so I doubt I'll be displeased when the mail-person brings it. Once every few weeks I'll feed a couple dozen disease-free gut-loaded shrimp.

Right now I have a 7" Sen, a 7" Retro. and a 4.5" Del in a 20L filtered with a Hydor 40 sponge filter powered by an AquaClear 30 Powerhead. I Keep it at 81f and have an airstone running constantly. I do a 25% WC and filter clean every other day. Since I have an egg crate top and an air-stone (Top Fin Ceramic Airstones are awesome), I top off the water daily as well.

I realize the tank is a bit overstocked. Luckily I have a birthday coming up in eleven days, which will provide funds for a stand and possible canopy. I have the tank, heater, filtration, and other odds & ends.

Now, on to the pictures! I'll start with the Poly retropinnis, move along to the Poly senegalis, and finish up with the Poly delhezi.

Are you sure thats a 20L tank? Looks too large to be just a 5g tank

thats a looooooot of algae O_O

I was unclear, sorry. It's a 20 gallon long tank. I will be replacing it with a 40 gallon breeder.

The tank unfortunately receives some sunlight, hence the algae.

I had started to become suspicious that the "Del" was actually an Endli, which unfortunately means I have to find a Delhezi (again).

Could you pose another pic of your "delhezi"?

Focus more on the jaw area. That way you can be 100% sure what it is.
