My pond idea

I was thinking i could make a little nice probably 200 gal Pond like midnights (http://img528.imageshack.us/img528/9637/sheepiz5.jpg) But with a glass sheet at the front to see the little fishes. But i don't want to put a liner in there, So i was thinking, Could I paint the inside of the pond with silicon so the wood around it wouldn't rot from the water?

maybe ask about the window in the diy section.
i thought about notching where the glass would be and bolt it in.
but i gave up on that idea.lol
many ways you could seal it "look in diy section"
paint,paint called pond armor,fiberglass,epoxy.
look in diy for plywood tanks,i would figure it would be the same.
