poor baby jardini about 4 inch starting to get gill curl on the right side. is there anyway to cure it besides doing a surgery on it!?!??!!??!? help me help my fish before he dies/gets worse

If it's barely starting, it might heal on its own if you get your parameters under control. Large and frequent water changes a day keep the MFK ASPCA away.

Better water quality, increased temp, powerhead and airstone; with a "dash" of Epsom salt and a small dose of melafix after each water change.

You will notce the curled area turn a redish color(good sign)

Place powerhead in the middle of your aquarium so it blows on your aro as it swims past.

Over time you will see improvment.

Good luck!

I'd try and address the reason you fish got it in the first place. Small tank? Dirty water? Water too clod while doing WC?

Try the power head, it didn't work when my RTG got it. If your fish is not scared of you and doesn't mind being touched you can massage it flat.
