Ever since i've gone full time at my job, i've run out of time to work on my tanks. the last part of my 180 i needed to finish was this 2'' gap i needed to get covered. i stalled for the past 2 months and now my 15'' aro i've grown since 3'' and my 9'' delhezi jumped out of the tank this morning .. just got off of work 30 minutes ago and found fish jerky behind my sump  sad sad day ..

Lesson Learned: Always have your tanks completely covered ..

Oh man that is terrible....sorry for the loss. Ironically I had my tank fully covered and my 20 inch ARO manged to lift the glass lid.....she too did not make it. I have since learned full cover and added weights on lids

Quick temporary fix throw a little press and seal cling wrap on it. sounds stupid but works

Happens to the best of us bro. I had an 18" fire eel jump a sealed tank with weight on the lid. I know a shopkeeper that had an old Asian aro (before they were made illegal in the states) and it jumped a couple days before they transferred it to it's new 500 gallon that was being built. It busted through the glass lid.
