after 4 months of the 250ml it is time to renew it. mine was all deep red. i already did the bleach bath and it automatically turned pink in an instant. turned back to white in 5 minutes.

you think i can just soak it in water now to speed up the process of getting it back in the tank?

Rinse it real well under a tap, then place in a small container and cover with water. Add seachem prime about 10- 20ml and stir. wait 8-24 hours. Empty and rinse well again. If it no longer smells of bleach and smells a bit like sulpher, then your ready to use again.

beex215 since its already white. i dont see why you couldnt just move onto step 2 and start soaking it in water.

beex215. thanks i actually dont know how to count. it was 5 months and not four. i did start the process of getting the bleach off after 3 hours worth of soaking in bleach and water. i got a headache because i was sniffing too much bleach
