my python sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i bought a 20' extention and i get no sucking power. my water preasure is not that great. im going up a flight of steps about 8'. is there any thing i can do?
 
Water pressure determines effectiveness. Try a different faucet.

Mine works at 50 feet, but I have decent water pressure. If I hook it up to the laundry room sink, I could vacuum the rug with it. :ROFL:
 
But do you do that with the hose going up 8'? Python's loose their suction very quickly when you add head pressure.
 
Yep. I can't really get any suction if it's going uphill...I have 2 tanks on the stand and my sink is about 3' above the lower tank, and I can barely get it to suck at all. Forget gravel vac-ing. To empty the lower tank I have to hook the python to the hose outside or just do it gravity-style out my door.
