I would like to share my two pythons. Now I know I used to own many more pythons but sold them when I moved out. I now live back at home and will never be making the same mistake again. The first two pictures show my ball python. For the people who know me, I am not the biggest fan of ball pythons but this was for my ex(gf at the time), when we split I got stuck with her. Now I don't mind this animal one bit, she is a very nice snake. Secondly, my blood python. Now I must admit, I saw the add on kijiji and it was a bit of an impulse buy. Believed to be male, he also lives in a tub at this time. I have a custom cage half built for the ball python(will be completed this summer) and no plans on the blood python. I am still trying to decide what cage would suit him best. All comments welcome :)

nice pattern on the ball, beautiful colors on the blood. Nice snakes

Very nice. But I'd get rid of the substrate. Indoor out door carpet is best. And easier on clean up. Cut 2 squares of it and its as simple as a quick switch then spraying with a hose and letting dry. Also you don't feed them in there tubs do you. That substrate would cause bad splinters and infections.

I use the substrate for keeping up the humidity and because it's more natural then I/O carpet. My blood python loves to dig around and hide in his coconut husk, I would never take it away from him. I feed all my snakes in there cages, snakes can injest the substrate with no harmfull effects.
