Hi all.
Thought i´d use my first post in here, to show off my tank and my arowana.
I allways loved these fish, but the silver and the blacks simply gets to big for me at this stage, and i really love the asians, beacause they seem to be more calm and slowgrowing then the southamerican ones, and alot less agressive then the australien ones.

The aro is currently around 12 inches, and about one year old.

Hope you like the fish - hes in the tank with a pair of small Potamotrygon reticulatus stingrays, various loricaridae catfish and some peacefull barbs (danio, dennisoni barbs and one other species) they seem to get along just fine, although from time to time the bars tend to magically dissaper

Has a nice dark base. If you want the fish to standout more in colour, better to get rid of the pink lighting tubes and just use daylight white tubes.

Hi
Thanks for the comments.
Rhodes: Im deffinetly exchanging the tubes, i dont like the pinkish coulour that much, i really like it when the fish stands out in the golden shine.
Stratos: i bought it in a fishstore i used to work in, we regularly imported fish from singapore, from Qian Hu Fishfarm, and it wad through them i got the fish. but i know of a store in Copenhagen that can order them. only problem is, that they cost ALOT in Denmark!
Tankbuster: thanks for the kind word. ill deffinetly make a few more full tank shots one of these days - im pretty pleased with it myself.

Regards
Kenneth
