yeah since my xingus are not spotting up yet I might as well show the ones that are. haha
I hope I find a new big tank soon otherwise it will be JDM bahias and xingus.
Hope people get the bug to buy up the new arrivals of bahias because they are great cichlas to have.
So I visited the breeder of these fish, he told me that out of all the ones he's sold, no one else has successfully bred them yet, and no other pair in Taiwan. One pair spawned, but just once. apparently they're not as easy to breed as it seems. but Ken's fish sure look like they're conditioned to spawn, so we'll see if he can be the first in the US or there are a couple other pairs floating around I know.
that's a snook, centropomus sp. not a nile perch, however they are remotely related, all in the perch family in a loose sense.
Most guys that have shown their Bahia i am not a big fan of Ken yours in my opinion look very nice possably the best!!!
