behind the red nano balls, there is that white polyster filter pads w/e you wana call them. so it collects all the dirt and fish poo etc...

bottom tank is a 178 gallon tank

What kind of ceramic rings are those? Almost look like the ones made of mech filtration?

Thanks. I have those ugly tops on just untill I go to the store and build my mini canopy. Theres no lights on the tank yet either /cry.
