So, i bought a pair of blue rams 2-3 weeks ago (just selected them having some basic knowledge on their sexing which i read on internet just 5 mins. before purchasing them.... luckily i hit the bulls eye)
but they were fighting when i get them home. so i had to divide them for few day.... i had kept them in 12" x 12" x 5" tank b'coz i had to keep my friends goldfish for few days in my 18" x 7" x 12" (i'm really not a "goldfish guy", i love cichlids
)
so after returning the goldfish to my friend 3-4 days ago, i relocated my rams in 18" x 7" x 12" ..... but the male was still chasing/nipping the female
he was nipping until this evening..... now they had laid eggs on the gravels (maybe 4-6 pieces of gravels which are about 2-3 cm long)
i've heard that the captive rams are bad parents.....so the questions are-
1)has any mfk member has ever spawned them?what was your opinion on their parenting habit?
2)should i remove the eggs, as i have a spare 12" x 12" x 5" tank? (I was thinking about taking out 2-3 gravels out on which the eggs are laid and leave the remaining eggs to them)
Please............................. answer this question as fast as possible so i can take out the eggs tomorrow morning maybe!
