My ray has a defect!

My Male henlei got some netting caught in his barb a while back. Rather than taking it out I left it there. As a result about 7 months later he shed both the stinger and the growing in stinger.

He has now grown a new stinger and it is backwards....no I mean literally backwards. It grows toward his body and not towards the end of the tail.

Will try to get a better shot tommorow

seen this on a motoro that someone had on another board,,,,,,,,,,no need to worry, after it sheds this new backward stinger it'll grow in normally.
