OH...IO
My african tiger scat has been living with the rays for several months now and everyone gets along very well. This guy is growing fast and is built like a tank. Sorry the flash washed him out a little.

Very nice, been considering them for a little while now.

Does he nip at all at the rays? I assume nothing bad or to be concerned about since he is still in there :)

That's a beautiful scat.
You never see these for sale in uk...
I'm very jealous.
I have a silver scat, but would lie one of these .
Do u mid me asking how much they cost you?

I have always been a Scat fan myself. But was always afraid they would pick at the rays. So how long have you had him and has it always been in totally fresh water? I used to keep Reds, Greens and Silvers in a large setup before I got into rays, always a very active display, never had the chance to pick up a Tiger. Very nice looking.

he is cool nice and fats ,

Thanks, he is a fatty

That's a stunning Scat.......How big is he? looks about 10" total length?

Thanks. I'd say he is closer to 9"

Never nips at the rays. The girl I got him from said he was aggressive to some of his tankmates so I was very concerned at first but hes never been a problem.

Thanks. I've had silver, red and green in the past as well but this guy is my favorite. When they show up in the US they normally go for 100 to 150 when small. I got a nice deal on this guy from another hobbyist.

I've had him since Dec or Jan I can't remember exactly and he has always been in totally fresh. Supposedly other scats need some salt but not the african tigers. So far so good. Thanks.

crazy looking fish man..
the head looks to small for its body.
i bet it tastes good though..

Pretty cool but i have seen guys that have had them with rays and they pick at the spots on rays like it was food glad you are not having trouble !!!!
