in front of my cichla tank,IL
like 5min ago i tossed a bunch of algae waffers in my tank for the plecos i have in there then i noticed my rbps started eating them i was like:WHOA: they must be:screwy: lol is it a good thing that they r eating the wafers?

It's not bad for them. All fish need some veggies in their diet (be it in the gut of the fish they eat or the plants they eat).

Probably not if your plecos don't get to the food lol. Sometimes algea wafers contain quite a bit of protein material in, depending on brands.

its the wardley premium algae discs and also my plecos always have a fat belly from all of the krill that the rbps dont eat but this was the first time i seen my rbps eat algae discs
