Pacus will eat anything! Nothing strange.

ok just wondering thanks for the fast answer.

Pacus will eat anything, but try throwing in a piece of fruit or vegitable for your pacu, that has way more nutrients.

zuchini, squash, mellon anything along that line, be creative!
do i just throw it in the tank or how do i give it to them?

yip, just throw it in. Carrots, apples, pears, nuts are good, too. Make sure there isn't anything in the tank with a power cord either (powerhead, heater, etc.) because when people say they will eat anything, they mean anything.

When they get big, you can throw in whole carrots

They love grapes, and can inhale whole almonds without chewing them. (They no longer get almonds, as we are afraid for our filtration system.)There's not much they won't eat.
