MY RED DEVIL DESTROY MY DOVII?

MY DOVII IS 6 INCHES AND MY RED DEVIL IS 4...WHAT HAPPEN TO MY DOVII?I TAUGHT DOVII IS NO.1 AGREESSIVE FISH?

Thats odd. But then again mixing (arguably) the 2 most agresive cichlids will probably lead to a bloodbath. What size tank where they in?

It happens buddy, they don't call them red devils for nothing.

I'm thinking the red devil is about the same size or bigger than the dovii.

He said that the dovii was 6" and that the devil was 4". I was thinking the same thing when I read the title.

red devil often top dovii in the aggressive lists... i have had dovii in communitys, ive had several rd that i had to sell due to psychopathic behaviour.

Many dovii cichlids dont really start getting aggressive until 8-10 inches. A red devil on the other hand, are nasty little demons at even an inch.

I agree Devils are prolly more aggressive early on as Dovii can be a little shy when smaller... Dovii, especially a male, once larger (10"+) might turn the table tho. It is def not a surprise to see a RD whup a Dovii by any means at those sizes... they are both big, rough and tough cichlids... def at the top as far as aggression goes, along with some others of course.

My Question would be why house the 2 in the same tank....seems to me it is asking for trouble
