thank guys. Yeah these pics came out crappy too they were not this light before I posted them. The fish are much deeper red than this. Yeah hoping to get fry from the first male and the female soon. They have been paired together for about 3 weeks. The female is not yet ready with the eggs. She was very skinny when I got her and not pellet trained so I had a little work getting her on them and trying to fatten her up. She needs another couple weeks I think. I plan to breed her with the other male as well.

Are you sure its a female (has it laid eggs before), I can't help but feel its a male? Its kinda built like a male, only reason I would think female is the dorsal flowerhorn and males can get those in some cases.
 
I thought they were both males with out reading. lol
