my red eyed setup

heres a pic of my red eyed tree frog setup.
i split the 20 gal.he loves it.
the crickets are stupid tho,one drop of water there dead.
and also i came up with the overflow idea.

cool. he doesnt try to get up in the overflow?

when the filter isnt running he will go in it and sleep.
but when its running he doesnt go in it at all.

Red Eyes a close second in my favorite frogs. A few questions:

1) Does he croak at night? If so how loud?
2) Is he hard to keep? Alot of maintence?
3) Do you ever handle it?

1- in 2 years he has a few times.not loud.kinda spooked me.
2- no,i just take out the dead crickets and add live ones.that easy.
i clean out the tank every couple months
3- no,he can jump far so i dont even try.

setup looks cool. did u custom cut that tank so it could hold that filter?

thats a very interesting way to hang a filter, is it over the back or did you modify the tank to hold it entirely in the tank?

didnt see someone posted.
i cut plexiglass to size and siliconed it in.
i could take it out and fill it up.entirely inside.
just make sure ya drill holes in the bottom piece of the holder.
it will fill up and get the motor wet.

heres a pic of him awake.had to use flash.
if ya turn on the light he closes his eyes and balls up.
