My Red flagtail does not eat veggies

Hey

I have a 5'' red flagtail and I tried feeding it algae wafers, cucumbers, and spectrum. It doesnt accept it. HOWEVER!!!! it loves eating massivore pellets! usually the nibbles on the whole pellet and eats the leftover crumbs from my other cichlids.

I kinda wanted it to have a wide range diet. Any tips?

Mine won't really eat veggies either, he sucks on Hikari cichlid pellets and loves blood worms. The only way I can get him to eat his vegetables is by giving him flake food, which he happily sucks off the surface of the water.
