nice the yellow one looks like a yellow foot, I have 4 of these myself they make great pets. I have had my male red foot for 11 years now so if you need any info on raising them or what kinda diet they like just let me know.

Nice torts.

go for it hit me with some info...what type of substrate do you use...im gonna use a 50/50 mix of play sand and non fertalized planting soil... also is it ok to feed hibiscus...um and can they stand the rain(since there from the rainforest i know dumb question) but i just ask cause my area gets alot of rain...its summer and we got two days straight so far with breaks in the rain for sun... ya i picked the light one cause its shell is light but legs and head are red so idk...but thanks.

ps...can you post a pic of yours id love to see it

Yes i will try to post some pics of mine, I mostly post at work but i will have to look at home to see if i have any pics or i will take a few. As far as what i keep mine in, This time of year they live in my backyard until it gets below 60 at night. Granted some of mine are almost adults. In the house I use cypress mulch and sterile potting soil. This seems to hold the humidity better than reptile beddings do. As far as the hibiscus flowers they love them, Roses too are a favorite flower for them. I feed mine every two days during the winter and spring. In the summer and early fall they only get fed once a week because they are grazing all day long. Mine eat anything green. Green beans and green leaf lettuse is mostly what i feed them, sometimes i might use some collards or kale but that is rare because of the folic acid content of the two. Also any fruit they will eat, but will become picky about certian kinds, plums and bannanas are favorites but are fattening to them. I also use a tortiose food once a week to add vitamins. About once a month I will feed them earthworms or even fish. Redfoots are one of the only scavenging tortioses and will eat dead animals. I also provide a large water dish they like to soak more than any other tortiose. As far as the rain they dont mind it, but because they have that nice black shell they do mind bright sunlight and will seek shade if its too bright. I will give some more info when i post some pics of mine my fingers are getting tired.

heres some flick of them in their indoor enclosure with organic potting soil as substrate and there watering hole...

ps never mind my legs and my boxers the enclosures loaction makes it hare to take full pics...
