My Red Isletas at about 6.5-7"

wow looks really nice i just got one of these in from rapps....how long did it take for it to reach thsi size?

thanks.... how agressive are they??? are they more aggresive than a midas?

About a month ago I had a Flowerhorn and two other Midas in addition to the Midas I have now (along with the other fish too). Well, I got rid of the FH & two other Midas because I found out they were females. This Red Isletas was starting to pair up with one of the Midas and showing some aggr, but since I took the females away I have had zero issues. To answer your question more direct, no they are not as aggresive in my opinion. Aside from that short time period (1 month or so) He has never been aggressive with any of my other fish and is pretty nice for an Amphilophus.

ok thanks mine doesnt seem to be to agresive..
 
Very nice. I got my pair from Rapps last year. My male has a huge nuchal hump and the female as well. Not as big as the male but noticeable.
