My Red Severum

very nice......looks like a male due to the worming on the face.....where did ya pick up that bloke? know where to find anymore??? how much??? i'm on the hunt for the most red sev i can find......like these, but you deff have a nice one!!! what size setup you got him in......any other tank mates???

i got a green one with an oscar there both the same size and they get along fine, i have been thinking of adding a red sev to them but have never seen one
 
Jeff Rapps just had some of those and I really wanted to get a couple but I waited too long and he sold out. Really beautiful cichlid and I'll get some next time he gets them in. Great color.
 
thanks i got him from all-happy fish, it was the last one =P if i see any really red ones ill let you know Ak-kronic.

he is in a 135 gal with couple of indos, bichirs, and a geophagus

also, what does "worming on the face" mean?
 
well look at the cheeks.....females normally just have spots but the males connect to make kinda worm look on the cheeks. all-happy fish???? is he a member or a site?? how much for him??
