Have you ever had an odd combination of fish become friends?

My 6 inch micropeltes and 4 inch pbass are best friends.

They always come to the front to eat together, swim around together, and I even see them sleeping together on top of the heater at night.

The snakehead also backs up the pbass.

My spotted climbing perch got aggressive with the pbass, the bass swam off, then the snakehead swooped down and bullied the perch back into his cave :D

I hope they stay like this as they grow and the micro doesn't beast the pbass.

Amazing! These animal friendships are most touching and amusing. Lets start a new thread:

Zach, you beat me to it. Redlines are schooling fish from fry to about 9-10 inches, So it's instinct is to follow the other "bros" he has in the tank. Before my redline died, was friends with my Payara, then I come home from work, and voila, only half of the payara is left. Nasty fish:swear:

I had two black Kulie Loaches with a 15" Claris catfish. He ate everything else.
He was in with the loaches when he was very small.

Must of got so used to them he didn't consider them food.
