I rescued a jaguar at about 7" from a 20gal tank a guy had him in. His spine (horizontal s shape) was slightly curved, but not real big. Here lately even in his 5ft tank (125 tall) it seems to be getting worse. His appetite is down to the bare minimum probably malnutrition level. I've tried to get a picture, but he hides in a corner with the opposite side where you can't see the curvature anytime you come in the room. He can move around, but his behavior is nothing like a normal jag. Water quality is top notch and I've been doing 2 75% wc's on his tank since I got him a year ago.

Should I wait this out or is this a euthanize type of situation? I originally thought it was slight stunting, but now I think it's more serious since it's getting more s-shaped even with plenty of tank space.

Euthanize and disinfect (oxodize bacteria) the tank with Hydrogen peroxide.

I was afraid of that.

Does the clove oil treatment below look good? It's been a while.
Put the fish in a bucket mix 3 drops in a 20oz bottle add to bucket
Wait until fish looks lethargic add another 20oz bottle mixture
Wait until fish goes to sleep then add the lost dose.

That should do it.
