My Rhom is eating Massivore!

I'm just excited that my larger rhom, the Black Diamond, is now eating massivore. He's around 7.5" and I've had him for not quite a month. Currently he's eaten raw shrimp and massivore. I'm just really excited. Anyone else have one that will do this?

I really believe that the shrimp that I have added to he diet has brought that out. He didn't have a lot of red when I first got him.

That's good that you got him eating massivore.. My pirayas and tern won't even look at pellets...

cant get any of my serras to look at pellets, my reds love em though.. good job.. Im jealous

how do you feed pellets without them dissolving and ruining your water conditions? my reds will eat them but they don't eat them in a frenzy/fast enough and some dissolve and give my water a nasty green tinge

Sometimes one or two will break down, but he's in a 125, with 1000 gph turnover, and I perform frequent water changes, so I've never had any water quality issues as a result of adding pellets to he diet. On that note, I had much bigger issues when I was fattening him up on feeder fish and there were heads and tails floating everywhere that had to be removed daily.
