tried doing that, and he just doesn't swim out of it, even when i remove it completely out of water and put it back, the damn fish still doesn't swim out

i am just waiting for him to get a little more fat, so that he doesn't get in any more

BTW he grew about .5" since the last 4 months, but he keeps growing fat on hikari cichlid gold

nice fish only ever seen rita rita for sale once over here and that was standard ones. Not bad though i think they wre around £8 for a 3" fish

yeah they kinda are slow growers
or may be, being scared all day and hiding in a small corner kinda slows their actual growth many times over i guess, just as it happens with the ARTCs, even though they grow quite monster in the wild.

they aren't common, here in the market, got it from a guy who exports natives, especially to europe as a wholesaler, and he sells mostly wildcaughts only

i kinda paid the same amount for each albino at 2", and one did not survive
anyways i hope i try not doing the stupid things that happened to me in the last few months and grow this guy out to huge size

i would send you an albino rita rita for every endli, or congi or lap you send.
as i can't find them here at all, not even one damn monster bichirs other than the ornates.
