My Rope Snake (my avatar)

here are some pics of my rope snake he is about 13" now. The coolest thing about him is he will swim into my hand when I am cleaning the tank. He likes to be "pet". I would like to get a couple more as they like the company. So far my bichir has not been too much of a nuisance to him.

Nice, just make sure your birchir isn't big enough to eat him. I member on here had a 12in birchir eat a 12in rope fish.

My jag was looking at him like a big worm, I believe I am going to get him out of there this weekend. I really like him and wouldn't want to lose him.

its not exactly a snake, its a member of the bichir family. nice greens and oranges tho.

yea ropefish can definatley jump

i had a rope fish for one day.
he jumped out where the overflow is,not much of a hole but good enough for him.
found him like 10 feet from the tank dead

Id keep a eye on your bichir an make sure he doesnt get hungry, I lost a synodontis to my Endi.
