So this was my first RTC. I got him sometime last year in June I think it was. He was 1.5" and today is 18". He was in a 29, then a 45 till he reached the 9-10" mark. He then has been living in the 150 stock tank till today. I put him, along with his buddies, into a tank while I was moving the tub and getting the filter thing worked out. I have never seen him from the side since he was 9-10".At that point everything was looking normal. Well I noticed his head was different once back in a tank. Kind of shorter on the top. Instead of that little over bite they have, his is like aligned with the bottom jaw. It makes the top of his head look smushed. So I don't know what happened. It doesn't bother me, he is still my baby, and fav, but I just wanted to share and see what everyone else thought about it.

Sorry about the crappy pics and cloudy water. Big cats plus sand doesn't work all that well. This was a few minutes after being moved over as well.

lol, I never looked at it like that. In person when he closes his mouth it looks like he is smiling.

Nice RTC.

pretty Leiarius longibarbus.

I agree with Jay. Sounds like stunting or a one-to-hard headsmash. Still nice, though.

Thank you, and thank you. I'm trying to get some pictures of the L while I can see him in a tank from the side.

Maybe he is in or grew up in a tank that was far too small!

I don't get this stunting thing? He was in the 29 when he was 1.5" until he was 3" then the 36"x12"x24" tank till he was like 9", and ever since has been in the 150 stock tank. I don't see where any of that time his living conditions were to small for his size. I do know that once he gets another inch or two on him he will be moved to either the 300 or something bigger.
