My RTC just arrived by mail

Ok my 15 cm RTC just arrived, his tail is not red why?
and what do i feed him?

- i got plecosticks and tetracolor tropical food
of my other fishs

They eat feeders until you train them to eat pellets, which is easier to do when they are smaller.

tilapia and shrimp is easy to get them on but then again they eat anything

Their tails are white when they are very young.

get them fed on a food that can grow with them

ok, i can buy fish filets in market, but is theres a problem if its salt or freshwater fish filet?
btw the pet store told me its trained to eat pellets
