my rtc knocked off the pumps case and some how swallowed the magnetic spinner piece inside pump while I was gone and idk what to do!

Happens to the best of us man... time to nut up or shut up. Gotta pull it out and and save it. Cple pairs of needle nose pliers should do the trick. Just be careful as i dont know the size of ur fish. Gotta do it tho. Had a 28” rtc eat a 5” airstone before lol... got her out...held er on the ground and pulled the stone with a pair of musky pliers. Quick recovery. Stay calm, get it done...and good luck ?

found this pic in my old files... dont b afraid... save ur friend lol... it will not get it out on its own most likely if it hasent already...

I have about 15 RTC's large & small. They do eat almost anything, sometimes looking for a hard objects to help crush food in their stomach.

I've never had to remove anything, whatever is not digestible will get expelled eventually. Sometimes 3 - 4 weeks later.

Thanks I went ahead and did that just as you said and was successful I appreciate the help! It was a 14” rtc that swallowed a pretty big propeller but I got it out and he seems to be doing well!

Would this be different to your experience wednesday? I mean, because it is magnetic?
Nope... object in the gullet is just an object in a gullet... gotta get it out lol. Its fairly common. Lots of rtc “surgeries” on you tube even showing this same thing.
