just received a call from my girlfriend to say she's turned on the lights and my ten inch rtg is dead. Heartbroken. Some of you may know last week i tried to introduce my asian to my black but gave up after a few days of the asian battering him. Last night i sat staring at him mesmerically as he looked so beautiful in perfect health and eating like a pig thinking to myself this is gonna be the best rtg anyone's ever seen and so for this to happen is even more shocking. I've kept him so i can see when i get home if there are any reasons why but she did say he was cent funny so could he have jumped, hit the weighted down lid and broke his neck or something?

Damn, very sorry to hear this bro!

What a shet. Look Marvin, it was alive and that, unfortunately, in my book, is reason enough, sometimes.

Does your GF know how to check params? Could we be talking of a slight overfeeding and ensuing spike?

Start all over from scratch..we've all bee that road before..To me it was 6 aro's in one go, one sunday morning...

Keep your head up bro.

spoke to hp and looks like i've found out why. he once lost one after dosing with melafix (which i put a little bit in last night) and the aro then jumped until it curled up and died with his fins all taught and when my girlfriend turned on the lights this morning the aro wa exactly like this. feel even worse now like it was my fault!!!!

sorry for you loss.

what about melafix causes aro death? i use it every once in a while to heal some damaged fins, etc.
