like the title above, my rtg isnt swimming much. poor appetite too.. ive made weekly 30% wc but its still d same.. help please..

it's sick.

seriously, we're gonna need a whole lot more info...

hmm.. its been like 1 week since it ate anything i guess.. i did regular wc and still no luck. i even brought the rtg to a lfs. the guys there dunno ****. as of now, it doesnt swim much, just staying at the bottom.. would adding salt help?

Don't think salt will help? Might be a internal parasite.

What are your water parameters like? And don't just say "They're good", list em...do you have any tankmates in with it?

err, is weekly 30% changes more frequent than your regular schedule, cuz if it is, you got some major issues here. Start doing daily 50% changes...most of the time, when an aro just lays there on the bottom, its either due to stress or crappy water. You need to start doing some frequent massive changes right now...

How big is the RTG?

What its age.

Keep temp about 33-34 deg C.

Do daily water changes.

All the best.

i had the same problem with my x-back before - used to just sit at the bottom. try adding current to force the fella to swim.

my x-back recovered by himself when i moved him into comm tank. now ok.
