My ruby red Spilo is about 6", is a 30"*18*20" tank big enough for him ?

I am wondering if a 30"*18"*20" tank is OK for my 6" ruby red Spilo ?. Do you think he will grow much more in this tank. He seems to be very Happy!!

Your tank is too small, to house him for life you will need 150 gallons aquarium or some thing like 60x18x24

150gallons is a little overkill.

they max at about 7"-8" in home aquariums. He'll be fine for now but 65-75gallon is what you should look for.

Your tank is big enough(just big enough but the bigger the better) for a RRS coz this fish doesn't grow to very large size(usually less than 9 inches in aquarium)

Your fine he prob won't get bigger then 7 7.5..... He won't reach 9 inches
