i used shiners fatheads lures

shiners,
i had a monster pea bass swoop at it twice but never ate it. :irked:
it was a breeding pair.

had a nice sized one follow a lure.

had a gar on a few times but got off.

saw one snakehead.

caught this mayan in the pic.

the pic of the water, you can just see the tail of the monster p bass going in the tube.
we took the pic a sec to late but you still can kind of tell its big.lol

and there was like 4 small gators.
they wouldnt quit chasing our lures.
there was one other guy there,he hooked one too.
gator wasnt happy and was calling momma :nilly:

and snakeheads suck!
i have went there like 4 times and see them every time but havent caught one yet :irked:
they see a shadow and there gone :irked:
came close once but thats it.

That baby gator would look awesome on any dashboard! lol

With your Arsenal of Baits, I expected you to catch a ton of PBs. Gotta work harder, Mr. Midnight.

The conditions were right. The heavy rains earlier in the week triggered lots of spawning. I don't blame you though. It's so hot out there, even the locals are being lazy catching them. I spotted many pairs Friday. When i went back yesterday afternoon, most of them were still there.
