well, today I had the worst realization since I figured santa wasnt real....
me and my wife were planning on getting a house ( currently boarding in her mums place), well we were turned down for a loan cause we have no history as far as renting goes (which I never realised you needed), so we are now looking for an appartment. well I have my rtc "Chow" (currently at 18"), and I highly doubt I'll be able to house her in an appartment. :(

has anyone got experience with this? or even a good idea to help me out?
I love Chow, but I really think I may need to find her a better home :(.and really hope theres a way for me to keep her.

get a ground floor apt for tank support, and if you move to a sketchy complex. and pay your rent on time you cant fly with damn near anything. I dug a sand box, and a flower garden at mine, plus ahd 3 dogs like 9 or ten snakes, tons of small animals noone gave a damn, cuz I was a good tenant...

EDIT: try for a F.H.A. home loan too! my moms just got one, and her credit was almost as bad as mine but she got it back to basically zeor and got a car loan. or get a cosigner till you can refi into your name

If you dont have room for chow at your new place, will your mom let you keep it where it is now?
I wish, Chows only welcome there till I find my place then she along with my other fish are getting the boot...

Simple... Rent a house ... basement and all :D You can kill 2 birds with one stone, get the credit history you need (just have your mother sign a lease with you and back date it ;) ) and you get to have a basement which means you can hide anything you want down there :D

I'm sitting in my friends apartment right now, looking at my 300g her 75g wide, and three other smaller fish tanks plus a bearded dragon, a dog and three cats... you can find apartments that allow tanks, or just dont care... I found two in Pullman, WA when I was looking for a place, one of the managers was actually excited when I told her I had large fish and the tanks to go with them. Just check the lease agreement to make sure there isn't a max tank size, and try to get a ground floor.
