What do yall think? I got him at about 3 inches in January. He has grown a lot. He is atleast 8 1/2 inches, probably closer to 9 now. I have him with pool filter sand subtrate which he loves. Rex is very light colored compared to other Senegals that i have seen. I don't know if it is because of the sand or what. The background is black though. Are there a lot of Senegals this light colored? He is not an albino, his eyes are black but the flash in the camera messed his eyes up. I like how he looks.:D

Its most likely due to the sand substrate-Anne

Isn't a Gibbicep a type of pleco? If so I heard plecos don't mix good with bichirs.

Mine will eat almost anything. He eats alot of cichlid pellets, floating and sinking, massivore delite, shrimp, worms, about anything.
