no where
sinve i put my puffer in a 2 way breeder thingy my sengal HAS ATTITUDE sneaks behind my other fish and trys to bite them but there to fast for him but still HES DOING GREAT YAY i may get 2 more ( again im gonna have a 29 in a few months for just 3 sengals )

Poly's need at least a 4x13 footprint and a lot of ppl here will even argue that they need 4x18 min. especially 3 of them.

ok im sorry but have to comment now... i have been reading some of your posts and comments and it sounds like a pause, research and then stock is in order for you.
From reading your sig. it sounds very edgy in the 29 as it is "1 paridise groumie" I assume you mean paradise fish, are not nice, they are nippers and with all those gourami feelers and angel fins , its more than likely and few shreddings are imminent. "3 tiger barbs" these should be kept in a group of 5-6 as they feel more secure and are less likely to terrorise, again these are nippers with plenty of nippable apendages. "2 sengel bichir ( 2 inches and 5 inches )" these are gonna get much much larger than a 29 gallon can hold and the thought of 3 more in a 29 is just pointless as like has already been commented, they will need a much larger footprint. "1 ram" a single ram is likely to feel a little lonely and with some senegals flapping around him, hes prob not as happy as he could be. "1 puffer" again i say huh??? Puffers are/ should be a species only fish, they are nippers and you have about as many tasty fins as possible for him. Its time to start thinking bout those you have rather than gettin more fish in an unsuitable size. IMO... I;m not startin a flame thread just giving my opinion so you don't need to keep asking for help with easily solvable issues

If you are ever looking for a bigger tank, Craigslist has some awesome deals! I got a 60g with a matching oak stand and canopy for only $125! Check it out sometime. My 3 senegals love it... even if they do always stay behind this one rock:irked:
Oh, and what kind of puffer did you get?

NO the smallest tank for a single senegal is a standard 30gallon(36''x12''x16'') for 3 senegals you'd alright with a 40 gallon breeder(36x18x16)but thats the minimum size and w/o tankmates-Anne

Oh wow ok. Lol I'm way off. So I would be ok with the 125G tank for all my fish then right?
1 BGK
2 Sens
1 Delhz

And would like to add:
1 Ornate

Right now they are residing in a 55G tank.

*My apologies for hijacking this thead*

I should think that would be fine, my tank is a 170G but has the same footprint as a standard 125 and I've got a uaru, chocolate cichlid, senegal, and florida gar...all are well-grown except the sen and the tank is still pretty understocked (I'm looking to add a BGK and another poly).

@ C_B I would just stick with the one senegal unless/until you know you can get a bigger tank. One in a 29G would be a little tight but borderline doable, more than that will be overstocked. Also it will probably eat the other fish (maybe have a hard time catching tiger barbs though).

CB, I agree with the others.

When you've seen a fully grown senegalus, you'll learn to appreciate how much space they need.

Why keep the puffer in a breeding box? You should do better for it, give it away or something.
