I cleaned up and re-arranged my Senegal tank today so I took some pictures. Soon it will be moving into a 40 Breeder.

It's about 8" long. Once it moves to the 40 in a few weeks I plan to get a Delhezi and a Retropinnis to keep it company.

Once I have that trio then I can go for a Plat Sen and hopefully be content with my Bichir collection.

looks secure and functional, do the clay pots have holes in them?

There is a small hole on the bottom of each pot. Not big enough to be functional in any way. The pot on the right that has the opening facing down at one point had a clump of Java Moss stuffed into the small bottom hole.

The pot on the left where it spends most of its time is wedged in place with stones you can't see.

There isn't much substrate with the exception of around the Sword, so it was pretty easy to make sure all of the piles of slate and other rock would stay in place.

haha yeah I didn't mean 'functional' as in long term housing, I just meant that the rocks give hiding places, and the semi-bare bottom, to keep clean.

Just be careful with the pots with holes, they are notorious for getting stuck in decor with holes.
