My set up, help and advice welcome. (especially for the gurgle)

My tank.
Day it was delivered.
Empty sump.
More tank 30in.
My plumbing, 25mm outlet, 18mm return.
1500 Grade A boi balls (30$) under a 25mm T bar with loads of drilled holes!!
Pump and 10 bags of Ceramic Noodles. 2$ a bag!
Chinese Resun pump and AC/DC air pump, with rechageable battery, good for 5 hours. (only time will tell and yes the pump is noisy but compared to others i don't know.)
Home made anti gurgle cap, (microphone head with foam removed)
but i'm thinking if an impeller cap. I'm also going to build a drilled acrylic box around this for safty.
My Tank with my tough as nails cycle fish in it.
The sump running properly, (thanks CTH).
Any advice or comments, especially about the gurgle problem are most welcome.
Am I a moster fish tank owner yet? Am I in the club?

I had problems with my resun, the impellors stopped rotating after a year or 18 months and when I unplugged them, I had to manually turn them again.

For the gurgle, type in stand pipe in the MFK search. thats where i got my idea. Cant even hear mine anymore.

PS. looking good. what's going in there?

asian RTG arowana, thanks for the tip I will do. What pump are you using now? I presume Taiwan is the same as Thailand, it's either made in China or locally.
