Hello,

I have a few tanks first one is a 15 gallons that I bought for my son, we got some guppies we bought 1 male and 3 females and as we wanted we got some babies we got this little incubator and kept the fry in there until they were big enough to be released so now we have like 21 some guppies and the original ones and yes all the females look pregnant again:-)..

I heard that guppies make good bait being that its less chance of having disease and bacteria because, I would know where and what type of environment its been in, which brings me to my new fish tank we got a 55 gal, stand, lights and filter "penguin 280" from my wife ex boss for 50$ couldn't pass that deal up. I figured that for this 55 gal the 280 was a bit too small, since many years ago I had the imperial 400 bio wheel for a 55 gal with cichlids..so I went out and got another "penguin 280" so I have two of these filtering my 55 gal and I also bought a power head "penguin 550"..

This is what is in my 55 gal tank for now.

3 Bala sharks "actually I have 1 more Bala that is in the guppy tank since he was small and almost got to be food for the needle fish:-(
3 Gold Fish (not by choice):-)
3 Needle Fish
2 Clown Loaches "and want about 3 more. Read that they do good in groups of 5 or more".
1 Pleco
1 Pictus Catfish

Here are some pics..

I also have a feeder tank that I keep my rose red for the needle fish.

Now feel free to tell me what I should and shouldn't do, I'm new to this and try to read as much as I can so, I can have a perfect environment for my fish, I want the best for my fish.
I love this hobby and want to grow in knowledge and tank size..

I would rather learn from all you people then by trial and error and the cost of fish life's...

Thanks to all.

its hard to read your post. best bet is to put one pic per line that way theyre only 1 wide. loverly clown loaches BTW :)

Thanks I will know for next time, since I can't seem to find an edit botton.:nilly:

And yes I really like my Clowns..

your tanks look to be healthy . only thing is that the loaches do like a strong current. and youll be on the overstocked side when your fish get larger

i love needlefish always wanted one. other than the obvious fish taht will out grow the tank, if its a common pleco is that the one u really want? there are a few pleco that will get much smaller and be beter for a tank that size. :) les waste too. Gold fish dont mix with the rest and they will produce alot of waste and temp requirements are different.
