Well....I've been lurking on this site for a while so I figured I put a pic of my setup up. Right now I have a 55G with 2 FM's (3 in), 2 JD's (1 2.5in 1 4in) and one female convict(2.5in). For filtration I have 1 XP3 and one AC70. At first I only had the AC70 on the tank, but being on this site convinced me to put the XP3 on also, because there is no such thing as overfiltration. I've been into fishkeeping for a while. mainly dealing with freshwater community tanks, and this is my first cichlid tank. I am closing on my new house in August, and I already have a 125G I got off of craiglist for $200 that these fish will go into then.

The tank....

My FM's....the other fish would not come out for pics.

A 125g for$200 lucky you.

Thanks...I'm trying to get a good pic of my larger JD but it seems inpossible. His coloration is amazing for his size.

On the 125G....I frequent CL when I get bored at work, and when I saw it online I had to get it. I left work early to go pick it up. The tank was only 4 months old, and some rich guy got it for his kids but did not realize the work needed to start and upkeep a tank that size. He had killed 3 sets of fish (new tank syndrome) so he was frustrated and just wanted it out of his house. The tank and stand were in awesome condition.

Best JD pic I could get....i'll get a better one soon.

I really like your aquascaping.

Thanks. Its funny though....I sit on this site and see all of you guys awesome tanks and I want to run out and redecorate mines. After many decor mishaps with other tanks including cheesy skulls from PetsMart, colored gravel, and horrible backgrounds, I've finally got the aquascaping under control. My tank background is painted solid black with acrylic paint, all natural river rock, 10-12 pieces of lavarock, and the driftwood. I had some fake plants in there, but I did not like how it looked.
