my short body tank

i've had this guy since he was 3", didn't look any different than his brothers except a bigger head, well its been months now and he has only grow maybe 3". I had him up for sale last week cause i am moving, but this guy is by far one of my favorite fish, so he isn't going anywhere. He is a little fiesty as you can tell, and he always ends up biting me some how.

wounder what strain he is i cant tell, my guess is a GM or tanking never seen a flowerhorn like this

WOW!!! I wonder if I'm looking at the almost impossible to find Sun Malau. It looks very close to the last Sun Malau I have seen in person that existed.
If you guys wonder what is a Sun Malau, it is the purest of the purest original GM strain.

Never heard of a sun malau, but thats a really nice looking fish. My guess is either Kamfamalau or tan king crossed with a goldbase. Cant be sure. The yellow face is very unique, I would hang onto him if I were you.
