Great you got him eating pellets. Those hikari sticks are the only pellets my aros ever would take. Most aros love them for some reason not shure why.

I only feed mine hikari sticks as well. Great for enhancing the natural colors.

I used a different brand sticks and they seem to stay too solid that my Aro would bite then let go.

Yeah they soak up water really quick like a sponge!
I feed mine massivores now though silvers don't really need colour enhancing IMO..

Yes they do. I feed mines crickets when I get around to buying em, I gut load them with Massivore Pellet. Soak til soft in water and feed to crickets. Hikari Live Crickets
