I was looking into my tank and noticed that my smallest Red Belly 2.5" was missing after I fed the others I started to look around on the ouside of my tank to see if maybe it jumped out but could not find it so I started taking all the rockwork out and low and behold there was its head,the other 2 ate everything except its head.Now the 2nd largest one is showing signs of ripped tail and fins but he is almost the same size as the biggest one(3.5").Everything was working out fine until they stopped eating as much lately just shows what kind of beasts these fish can be even at this small size.

They're actually the most vicious when they're juvies.
I had my first casualty at 9 months and by then, I thought I was safe. Then a month later, another one.
I'm down to 3 now and even then...almost 2 years later, I wouldn't say they get along. There's still nipped fins here and there but for the most part, they tolerate each other.
