In the Water
Just before, I came home to find my tank decorations laying on my bed and my two little pbass dead in my tank! I was told by my 4 year old daughter that my 3 year old had climbed up on top of my dresser, used the net to catch them and squeezed the living crap out of them! WHEN I TOLD HIM RIGHT BEFORE I LEFT TO NOT TOUCH THE FISHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I"M just so ****in pisssed!!! HOLY *****, I just dont know what to say! I could feel the tears coming out of my eyes "NO LIE" but no I did not break down and cry.
I know that I was gonna post up some pictures but couldn't find my cam. I did however find the cam and did take some pictures but now I can't find the USB wire to connect to my computer. Will be posting up pictures when I find it.

Today is a sad day.
R.I.P Tiger and Jaws

sorry to hear..it reminds me of when i was in preschool i did the same thing with my parents fish, but they somehow always made it back in with lots of lint suck to them

get larger or more aggressive fish/tank... i would be surprised if he was able to squeeze larger fish before they bite or rethink your tank size and or positioning but honestly 3 years old seems a bit young to do all that on his own he might have had some influence sorry for the loss

yeah it was him becuase when I came home he was all wet and my baby sitter told him not to touch them becuase she had seen him trying to touch them earlier. When she noticed it was already too late. *sign*
My fishes and I had such a good connection! They were little chickens when I wasn't in the room and every time I walked into the room they always came right up to the front of the tank swimming up and down waiting for me to give them some food. *sign* I feel a little bit better today. Thanks for all the comfort guys. Still looking for that USB wire!

First off, wisconsin fish keepers rule.

Secondly Im really sorry...but its probably a good sign. If he wants to play with the fish chances are when he is older he will want to play with them in a more appropriate manner.

Im looking to get some pbass myself. Luckily there are no youngsters around except my niece and at 18 months she likes nothing more than watching greg the frontosa...hopefully she doesnt move onto fish squeezing.

That is a bummer. I was a naughty boy too.

My parents told me that when I was little I would be synched into the car seat as tight as I could be. They would even tie it in a knot because it wasn't tight enough. Then, as we drove down the interstate I would wiggle my way out and stand up in the car seat and scream. Once I even opened the side door on the van. I am still surprised I am alive after all I have been through. HA HA Too bad my parents got out of the fish business before I was born. I would've made some great shark food! LOL :)
